I Worked At An Aquarium For A Day And This Is What I Learned Fun Love
I’ve always loved sharks, so I ditched my cubicle and spent a day swimming with and feeding them — and it was FINTASTIC.

Hi! My name is Sam, and I really like sharks. I also like to try new things — including new jobs that take me out of my comfort zone.
I've had an obsession with sharks since a very early age (yet was terrified of dogs — I could handle a great white, but not a Chihuahua, go figure). Maybe it's because I'm a swimmer, and I saw something in an animal that goes fast in the water. Or maybe it's because sharks are notorious for eating almost anything, which I could relate to. Or maybe it's just because sharks are the ultimate "DGAF" animals and rule the ocean with an iron fin. Regardless, sharks have always held a special place in my heart.
This got me thinking: What would it be like to work with sharks at an aquarium for a day? Would it be difficult? Would I have fun? And most important of all, would a shark try and eat me? There was just one way to find out...
I had to ACTUALLY work at an aquarium. Lucky for me, the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach was happy to help a brother out.

And you better believe I arrived to my new gig in my Sunday best.
Shark socks, shorts, shirt, and backpack? Check, check, check, and CHECK.
