This Sled Dog Isn't Letting Blindness Stop Her From Racing With Her Team Fun Love
A dog named Laura is racing in this year’s Iditarod despite a condition that has caused her to go blind.
This is Laura, a 5-year-old sled dog participating in this year’s Iditarod.
However, Laura is dealing with more challenges than most in Alaska’s famous race, KTUU reported.
About two years ago, he began to notice the pup's eyes were becoming cloudy, he told KTUU.
A vet diagnosed Laura with a disease called pannus, which causes blindness. However, Laura didn't let the disease slow her down.
